Cheers to Bruce Springsteen!

Yes, it’s a done deal. Bruce Springsteen Day is celebrated in the state of New Jersey on September 23, the day of Springsteen’s 74th birthday.

At the inaugural American Music Honors ceremony, hosted by the Bruce Springsteen Archives on April 15, Governor Phil Murphy declared it to be such.

Since Springsteen began touring, there have been 14 administrations in New Jersey, according to Murphy. I find it unbelievable that it took this long.

Fans of Bruce Springsteen have been commemorating the day for years now.

“Bruce Springsteen is one of the most recognizable, iconic, and influential musicians — and New Jerseyans — of all time,” declared Murphy in a statement. We should honor Bruce for everything he has done and will do in the future, including giving us the gift of his music and volunteering his time for causes that are important to him.

Around the world, Springsteen Day and his birthday will be celebrated by fans. The Spring-Nuts fan club intends to celebrate and post a collective birthday greeting to the Boss on social media.

Springsteen, Bruce The E Street Band and the Boss are taking a break on day 2023.
While the Boss receives treatment for peptic ulcer disease symptoms, Springsteen and the E Street Band are taking a break. The remaining E Street Band performances in September have been rescheduled.
The renowned rock artist informed fans via a statement on his official Instagram page that, beginning with the show scheduled for September 7 in Syracuse, New York, he would be taking a hiatus on the advice of his physicians.

“Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows,” the statement says. “Let me start by apologizing to our wonderful Philadelphia fans who we missed a few weeks ago. We’ll pick up these shows when we return.

“We’ll be back soon,” said Springsteen as he closed the song. Godspeed and love to everybody. Springsteen unexpectedly canceled two shows in August at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park, citing sickness. But he returned for a trio of hometown stadium stompers in East Rutherford, New Jersey’s Met Life Stadium.

On September 23, 1949, in the former Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, Bruce Springsteen was born. He is the first child of Freehold residents Adele and Douglas Springsteen. Virginia and Pamela would be their other two children.
