ST ALOysius, based in Mangaluru (considered university) will launch four full-time B technology programs under its newly established School of Engineering of the Academic Year 2025-26.
On Monday addressing the people of the media in Mangaluru, the Reverend Praveen Martis, Vice Chancellor of Staysius, said that the Indian Technical Education Council (AICTE) has given approval to begin four engineering programs. They are: B Tech in computer science and engineering, B Technology B in computer science and engineering (artificial intelligence and automatic learning), B Tech in Science and Information Engineering, and B Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Student intake for each program is 60.
These programs will be sacrificed on the main YoSius campus in Light House Hill in the city of Mangaluru.
By stating that the seven -story University of Engineering University is about to finish, he said that this installation will house high -tech laboratories, smart classrooms, innovation and research centers, and collaborative learning spaces.
The School of Engineering will be directed by a team of highly qualified and experience teachers, committed to promoting the next generation of engineers and technologists, he said, and added, the study plan of the B Tech programs has been prepared in consultation with the industrial partners.
ST Aloysius is a heritage institution with 145 years of service in the education sector.
