Tamil Nadu Prime Minister MK Stalin launched the electronic component manufacturing scheme on Wednesday. The scheme aims to increase the production of electronic components in the state. “This is a critical scheme to help the State achieve an objective of around $ 50 revenues in biliion of the electronic sector in the next two or three years from the current $ 14 billion,” said Industrias Minister Trb Rajaa.
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity), Government of India, which already implies a manufacturing scheme of electronic components. Aligned with this, the government of Tamil Nadu has now introduced a scheme that sacrifices coincidental incentives to attract companies to the State.
Through this state -level initiative, Tamil Nadu points to attractions worth ₹ 300 billion rupees and creates 60,000 new employment opportunities, Rajaa told newspapers.
